Squared Away — Terms of Service

Last updated July 28, 2026. These terms cover your use of squaredawayhq.com.

The short version. This site is run by a small company in Texas. You can browse it and buy things on it. Please don’t break it or take our work and sell it. What you can do with a product you bought is covered by the Product License Terms further down this page.

1. Who we are. This site is operated by North Texas Digital Compliance, LLC, a Texas limited liability company doing business as Squared Away. You can reach us at hello@squaredawayhq.com. Our mailing address is 5900 Balcones Drive, STE 100, Austin, Texas 78731 USA.

2. What these terms cover. These terms apply when you visit or use this website. They are an agreement between you and us. If you don’t agree with them, please don’t use the site. Buying a product also brings in our Product License Terms and our Refund Policy, both on this page.

3. Using the site. You can read anything here, and you can buy without making an account. A few things we ask you not to do: don’t try to break into any part of the site, don’t scrape it or copy it wholesale, don’t use it to send anyone anything harmful, and don’t use it in a way that stops other people from using it. If you do, we may block your access.

4. Buying from us. Prices are in US dollars and are shown without sales tax. Texas sales tax is added at checkout and appears as its own line on your receipt. Everything we sell is a one-time purchase. There is nothing that renews and nothing to cancel.

Before you pay, you tick a box agreeing to the Product License Terms and the Refund Policy. That checkbox is the agreement for the product itself. We send your product by email and show it on the confirmation page.

We may change prices, run a discount, or stop selling something at any time. A change never affects an order already placed.

5. What’s ours. The words, layout, design and name on this site are ours, along with the products we sell. You’re welcome to link to us. You can’t copy the site’s content and publish it as your own, and you can’t use the Squared Away name or look as if it were yours.

6. Google. Squared Away isn’t affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google LLC. Google Sheets™ and Google Drive™ are trademarks of Google LLC, used here only to describe what our products work with.

7. Email from us. If you buy something, we send you the receipt and the product. That email is part of the purchase and isn’t marketing. If you sign up for our list, that’s separate, it’s always your choice, and every one of those emails has an unsubscribe link. Writing to us for support never puts you on a list.

8. The site as it is. We keep this site running as best we can, but we can’t promise it will always be available or always be error-free. Sometimes things go down for maintenance, and sometimes they go down without warning. The site is provided as it is.

9. Not professional advice. Nothing on this site is financial, legal, tax, medical or insurance advice. Our products help you organize your own information. The decisions are yours.

10. Limit on liability. If something goes wrong, the most we’re responsible for is what you paid us in the last twelve months, or one hundred dollars if you haven’t bought anything. We’re not responsible for indirect losses, like a missed payment or a decision made from your own numbers. Some places don’t allow limits like this, so part of it may not apply to you.

11. Other companies we use. Payment is handled by Stripe, and your card details go to Stripe rather than to us. Our products run in Google Sheets™, which is Google’s service and governed by Google’s own terms. Those companies have their own agreements with you, and we don’t control them.

12. If these terms change. We may update these terms. The version that applies to a purchase is the one in place on the day you bought. We’ll change the date at the top when we update them.

13. The law that applies. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, and any dispute is handled in the state or federal courts located in Texas.

14. Questions. Email us from the support page, or write to hello@squaredawayhq.com. We answer as soon as we can.

Squared Away — Product License Terms

Last updated July 28, 2026. These terms apply to every Squared Away product you buy.

The short version. You bought a Squared Away product. It’s a Google Sheet you copied into your own Google account. That copy is yours to keep and use for as long as you like. What you can’t do is resell it or hand the template out to other people. The rest below says the same thing in plain terms.

1. What you’re buying. Each Squared Away product is a template built in Google Sheets. When you buy it, we send a link that makes your own private copy in your Google account. You pay once. There’s no subscription and nothing to renew.

2. What’s yours. Your copy is yours. The information you put in it is yours. Your copy lives in your Google account, not ours. We can’t see it or reach it, and we can’t take it back. It stays with you for as long as you keep it, even if you ask for a refund.

3. What stays ours. The design of the product, how it’s built, laid out, and worded, along with the Squared Away name and look, stays ours. Buying a copy lets you use it. It doesn’t transfer the design to you.

4. What you can do. Use your copy on any device. Change it however you want. Keep it as long as you like. Share your own copy with the people in your household who use it with you.

5. What you can’t do. Don’t resell, rent, or give away the product. Don’t share the copy link or the template with people outside your household. Don’t publish it, or use it to build a product you sell. Don’t take the Squared Away name off it and pass it off as your own.

6. How you get it, and updates. You get the product as a copy link right after you buy. Your copy is frozen at the version you copied, and we don’t push changes to it. If we release a new version later, it’s a separate, fresh copy. Your current one keeps working, untouched.

7. Your data is your job. Because your copy lives in your Google account, keeping it safe is up to you. Please don’t put passwords, full card numbers, or Social Security numbers in any Squared Away product. Our tools aren’t built to hold secrets like those, and a spreadsheet isn’t the place for them.

8. Not professional advice. Our products help you organize your own information. They aren’t financial, legal, tax, medical, or insurance advice. Money Map shows you your own numbers; it doesn’t tell you what to do with your money. Life Binder holds your household details; it isn’t legal or medical guidance. The decisions are yours.

9. Sold as-is. We build these carefully and stand behind them. But we sell them as they are, without a guarantee that a product fits every situation or is free of errors. You’re responsible for checking that it works for you. If something is broken or not as described, our refund policy covers it.

10. Limit on liability. If something goes wrong, the most we’re responsible for is the amount you paid for the product. We’re not responsible for indirect losses, like a missed bill or a decision made from your own numbers. Some places don’t allow this kind of limit, so part of it may not apply to you.

11. Refunds. Covered by our refund policy on this legal page. Short version: 14 days, no reason needed; broken or not as described, any time.

12. Google. Squared Away isn’t affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google. Our products work in Google Sheets™, a trademark of Google LLC, named here only to say what our products run on.

13. If these terms change. We may update these terms for future sales. The version that applies to your purchase is the one in place on the day you bought. Changes don’t reach back and change what you already own.

14. The law that applies. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas.

15. Questions. Email us from the support page. We answer as soon as we can.

Squared Away — Refund Policy

Last updated July 28, 2026.

If a product isn’t right for you, we’ll refund it. Email us within 14 days of buying and we’ll send your money back. You don’t owe us a reason.

One honest note. Because each product is a copy you make into your own Google account, we can’t take it back. A refund returns your money. Your copy stays with you.

If something is broken or not what we described, tell us any time. We’ll fix it or refund it. That one isn’t on a clock.

Your refund goes back to your original card. It usually lands within 5 to 10 days, depending on your bank.

And if something’s wrong, email us first. A refund from us is faster than a dispute through your bank, and we’d rather just take care of it.

Squared Away — Privacy Policy

Last updated July 28, 2026. This covers squaredawayhq.com and anything you buy from us.

The short version. We ask for your email so we can send you what you bought. If you want announcements, you can give us that email separately, and you can stop any time. We use anonymous traffic numbers, and only if you agree to cookies. We don’t sell anything about you, and we can’t see what’s inside the product you bought.

1. Who we are. North Texas Digital Compliance, LLC, a Texas limited liability company doing business as Squared Away. Write to us at hello@squaredawayhq.com or 5900 Balcones Drive, STE 100, Austin, Texas 78731 USA.

2. What you give us. When you buy something, we collect your name, your email address, and the billing address we need to work out sales tax. Your card details go straight to Stripe, our payment processor. They never reach our site and we never see them.

When you write to support, we get whatever you put in the form: your name, your email, your order number if you have one, and your message.

If you sign up for announcements, we collect that email address and nothing else.

3. What gets collected on its own. Our web host and our security plugin record standard things like your IP address and which pages loaded, which is how we keep the site up and keep attacks off it.

We also use Google Analytics to see how many people visit and which pages they read. It’s turned off until you accept cookies, and we’ve switched off the parts of it that build advertising profiles. We don’t use it to identify anyone.

4. Cookies. Some cookies have to be there for the site to work. They remember what’s in your cart and whether you already answered the cookie banner. Those are always on, because without them the site can’t function.

The rest are analytics cookies, and they don’t run until you say yes. If you say no, the site works exactly the same. You can change your mind later from the cookie link in the footer.

We don’t use advertising cookies, and we don’t let anyone else drop cookies here to follow you around.

5. What we do with it. We use your information to send you what you bought, to answer you when you write in, to work out the right sales tax, to keep our books, to keep the site secure, and to see roughly how many people are reading which pages. If you asked for announcements, we use that address to send them.

That’s the whole list. We don’t sell your information, we don’t rent it, and we don’t hand it to anyone for their own advertising.

6. Who else handles it. A few companies help us run this. Each one only gets what it needs to do its job.

Stripe processes payments. Google Workspace sends and holds our email. Hostinger hosts the site. Google Analytics counts visits. Kit sends the announcement list, if you’re on it. Each of them has its own privacy policy.

We also hand over information if the law genuinely requires it, and we’d tell you unless we were forbidden to.

7. What we can’t see. This one matters. Every product is a copy that you make into your own Google account. Whatever you type into it, your bills, your renewals, your household details, lives in your account and not ours. We can’t open it, we can’t read it, and we can’t take it back. That stays true after a refund.

Please don’t put passwords, full card numbers or Social Security numbers into any of our products. They aren’t built to hold things like that, and a spreadsheet isn’t the place for them.

8. How long we keep things. We keep order records for as long as tax and accounting rules require, which in Texas means at least four years. Support emails stay until they’re no longer useful, generally about two years. If you’re on the announcement list, we keep your address until you unsubscribe. Analytics data expires after fourteen months.

9. Your choices. You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or ask for a copy you can take elsewhere. You can unsubscribe from announcements with the link in any of them. You can refuse or withdraw cookie consent from the footer.

Email hello@squaredawayhq.com and we’ll take care of it. We’ll answer within forty-five days. If we say no to something, we’ll tell you why, and you can write back to ask us to look again.

10. Children. This site isn’t meant for children, and we don’t knowingly collect anything from anyone under thirteen. If you think a child has sent us something, write to us and we’ll delete it.

11. Keeping it safe. The site runs over an encrypted connection, payments go through Stripe rather than through us, and access to our systems is limited and protected. No system is perfect, and we won’t claim ours is.

12. If this changes. We’ll update this page and change the date at the top. If a change is significant, we’ll say so plainly rather than quietly editing it.

13. Questions. Email hello@squaredawayhq.com. A person reads it.
