The problem
The deadline passes while the essay is still a tab you meant to open.
Twenty of them, across six sites, each wanting something different. One needs a transcript, one needs two recommendations, one wants an audition. The dates live in a browser tab, an email and somebody’s memory.
So two close with nothing sent, and they were worth more than the one that got finished.
What's inside
One list, sorted by what closes next.
Type each scholarship once: what it pays, when it closes, what it asks for and the stage it is at. The file counts down to every deadline, totals what you have applied for and what you have won, and marks anything closing inside two weeks.
It sends nothing. The applications still go in on each scholarship’s own site. This is the list that tells you which one is next.
Scholarships. One row each, with the amount, the deadline, what it asks for, the status, when you applied and how it turned out.
The countdown. Days to every deadline, worked out, so the next one is the one at the top.
The Dashboard. The next deadline and what it pays, how much you have applied for, how much you have won, and how many close inside two weeks.
The chart. How much money sits at each stage, from the ones still being researched to the ones already sent.
Red and gold. A deadline already gone turns red. One inside two weeks turns gold.
Set up. Your own statuses, requirement types and outcomes, behind the dropdowns on Scholarships.
Sample scholarships. Twenty made-up ones, so the totals make sense before you type your own.

Questions
Before you buy.
Does it apply for me?
No. Every application still goes in on the scholarship’s own site. This holds the list, the dates and what each one asks for.
What if I do not know the amount yet?
Put in your best guess or leave it empty. The countdown works either way, and the totals catch up when you fill it in.
Can a parent and a student use the same file?
Yes. It is one Google Sheets file, so share it the way you share any other, and you are both looking at the same list.
